Palestine - Selection

Western Asia bordering on the mediterranean Sea. Formerly a part of Turkey, Palestine was occupied by the Egyptian Expeditionary Forces of the British Army in World War I and was mandated to Great Britain in 1923.  Mandate ended May 14, 1948.
